Orlando Jihadist Wasn’t Just Targeting Homosexuals

Orlando Jihadist Wasn’t Just Targeting Homosexuals

At least not unless The House That Walt Disney Built has had a sudden and dramatic shift in the demographics of its longtime clientele:

As of Monday, investigators are currently scrubbing the Pulse nightclub gunman’s computer for any pictures or videos of Disney World that would suggest Omar Mateen cased the park or its surrounding areas as a potential target, according to the source.

When asked if any direct evidence was found so far, the source told Fox News “it’s still early.”

The FBI has also been in contact with security officials at Disney World to review security camera footage that would place Mateen at the park or at any of its surrounding attractions, the law enforcement source said.…

People Magazine reported earlier on Monday that Mateen’s ex-wife told the feds he had recently scouted Disney World.

I suppose it’s possible that Tinkerbell is actually a gender impersonator and is sharing forbidden “love” with Jiminey Cricket, or perhaps Mickey Mouse is doing things in a threesome with Pluto and Goofy that Darth Iger doesn’t want the world to know about, and Omar Mateen somehow found out about one or both in Baron Zemo fashion and decided to take matters into his own hands.

Or, more likely, Mateen was not just a homophobe, but an Islamic Fundamentalist on a mission of jihad to kill every non-Muslim at which he could point his Sig Sauer MCX carbine, and simply chose to “cleanse” the Pulse Nightclub because it was closer and more easily accessible.

Meanwhile, you know those “Christianists” that filthbags like Sally Kohn insist are REALLY responsible for the Orlando massacre….?

Hey right wing Christians desperately trying to point out that right wing Muslims are more anti-gay than you are: Your guilt is showing!

Last I checked, it’s not Muslim religious extremists shooting up abortion clinics and killing abortion doctors.

Islamic extremists kill LGBT people.

Christian and Jewish extremists just drive us to commit suicide.

Either way, .

So it’s “petty” to mourn the incredibly destructive role Christian Right ideology has played in US gay community?https://twitter.com/benhowe/status/742399390011232256

Simple fact is that progressive Muslims recognize my fundamental humanity and equality as a queer person more than Christian right does.

Well, the snake-handlers that run Chic-Fil-A are donating food, water, and helping hands to their fellow Americans in Orlando:

Chic-fil-A, as any fan of the restaurant knows, is closed on Sundays. Normally. But this week Sunday was not normal as America awoke to the horror that took place in Orlando, Florida. In light of the tragic news, several Orlando locations of the Christian-owned restaurant chain and constant bogeyman of the paranoid left opened their doors and hearts on Sunday to help their fellow man.

As the Washington Examiner reports, they provided assistance, food and water, a place to sit down. They delivered free food and drinks to the police, fire, and rescue personnel at the scene. They volunteered in lines handing out supplies. They even gave out hundreds more to those who came to the Red Cross to give blood.

Employees of Chick-fil-A Lee Vista prepare to deliver free food and water to the scene of the terror attack in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, March 12. (Via Facebook)

Rumor has it is was the Christian thing to do, and had nothing to do with Sag Saeur MCX carbines.  And all out of the kindness of their hearts, as inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Sally Kohn evidently had no comment that could be shoehorned into her Christophobic hatemongering agenda.  But don’t feel bad, Sal, because Mateen’s co-religionists will be shooting up synagogues and churches eventually, and probably sooner than you hope.  And you’ll be there in the quaking aftermath…to pass out the popcorn.

Orlando Jihadist Did Not Use An AR-15

Orlando Jihadist Did Not Use An AR-15

Okay, the other reason for this post is to glom the pic above.  I especially like the gun with the “BANG!” banner sticking out of the barrel, because that reminds me of the WWF bit that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin did with Vince McMahon back in 1998:

“McMahon 3:16 says you just pissed your pants”.  Ya just can’t beat the classics.

Much like the Obamedia stumbled down the steps and pooped their pants of firearm ignorance yet again.  Pistol, shotgun, squirtgun, raygun, rifle, it doesn’t matter, because they’re all AR-15s to the gun-grabbers:

Newsweek screamed, “ORLANDO SHOOTING PUTS SPOTLIGHT ON AR-15 RIFLE.”

Judd Legume of Think Progress squeaked, “The NRA’s Love Affair With The AR-15, Weapon Of Choice For Mass Murderers, In Twenty-Two Tweets.”

Always wrong Christopher Ingraham of the Washington Post whined, “The gun used in the Orlando shooting is becoming mass shooters’ weapon of choice.”

There’s just one problem, the wrestling saying equivalent of which is not knowing the difference between a wristlock and a wristwatch:

The rifle used by the Islami[c] terrorist in Orlando was instead a Sig Sauer MCX carbine.

SigSauer

….a modular, multi-caliber (able to swap to different calibers, including 5.56 NATO, 300 BLK, and 7.62×39) rifle system that sometimes utilizes STANAG magazines common to more than sixty different firearms, but otherwise has no major parts that interface with AR-15s in any way, shape or form.

This of course, will make no difference at all to the anti-gun politimedia, who don’t particularly care about factual accuracy and who likely wouldn’t be able to tell an AR-15 from a toaster oven if their lives depended on it.

And, of course, they don’t have to care, because (1) they want ALL guns confiscated from law-abiding Americans in blatant violation of the Second Amendment, and (2) they have private security details and bodyguards anyway that take care of that sort of thing for them.

Not that the Sig Sauer MCX carbine is any less deadly than the AR-15, obviously.  But the AR-15 is much better known, and if the Obamedia can play up that that was Omar Mateen’s primary weapon of choice, the Orlando atrocity can be tagged to it, and gin up renewed public support for gun-grabbing in general.  Or so goes the standard Obamedia plan.

And Muslim-control, which would be a much more effective and direct remedy to the real problem?  That’s “Islamophobic”, of course.

The anti-gun press may be “praying for Orlando,” but theirs has nothing to do with the victims or their families.

Dhimmi Madness

Dhimmi Madness

Looks like Omar Mateen was a chip off the old block.  Which is to say, he was a devout Muslim, which is in turn to say that he was a liar and not just a wannabe unholy “warrior” like his old man:

“I didn’t see anything irregular with him. I saw him yesterday [Saturday] afternoon,” Seddique Mateen said. “It makes me upset, it makes me mad that I didn’t see anything unusual.” …

“I don’t think he was radicalized,” Seddique Mateen said. “That’s what my gut feeling tells me.”

Given what #1 son did early yesterday morning, I imagine he wouldn’t have seen anything unusual in his son’s. behavior, unless he had donned a rainbow-logo’d t-shirt.  Ditto not thinking he was “radicalized,” because as a devout Islamic Fundamentalist, “radicalization” to the elder Mateen would mean converting to Christianity or Judaism.  From his point of view, slaughtering the “unbelievers” is simply the way of things.  It is what Muzzies do.

Which is not to say that the proud پلاره! wasn’t also spinning like a pulsar:

As a husband, however, she said Omar Mateen was abusive and mentally unstable. When he was angry, he would sometimes rant about homosexuals, Yusufiy said.

“He would be perfectly normal and happy, joking, laughing one minute — the next minute his temper … his body would just [go] totally the opposite,” Yusufiy, twenty-seven, told ABC News. “Anger, emotionally violent and that later evolved into abuse, to beating. …

i.e. Yusufiy is evidently not as “devout” as her ex-husband….

Seddique Mateen said this is the first he’s heard about his son’s abusive behavior toward Yusify. Omar Mateen later remarried and had a three-year-old son with his new wife. Seddique Mateen said his daughter-in-law is “a typical American” and “a nice lady” who also never showed any signs of radicalism.

….and his new wife is.

Just like his pop:

Seddique Mateen told ABC News he’s unsure of his son’s possible motive for the attack at Pulse nightclub, which bills itself on its website as “Orlando’s Premier Gay Night Club.” He said he and his wife raised their children to always be accepting of others.

Suuuuuuure he is.  Suuuuuuuure he did.  That’s not the message Seddique Mateen regularly vomits out on his pro-Taliban-flacking Facebook page.…:

In the video posted early Monday, Seddique Mateen says his son was well-educated and respectful to his parents, and that he was “not aware what motivated him to go into a gay club and kill fifty people.”

The elder Mateen says he was saddened by his son’s actions during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

He then adds: “God will punish those involved in homosexuality,” saying it’s, “not an issue that humans should deal with.”

….or kindred cable access program, Afghan TV:

A senior Afghan intelligence source tells CBS News correspondent Lara Logan that the show is watched by some in people in Afghanistan but the primary audience is ethnic Pashtun Afghans living in the U.S. and Europe.

Just like Seddique Mateen’s son, shockingly enough.

The Taliban Islamic [Fundamental]ist movement is comprised almost entirely of Pashtuns, and Mateen’s show takes a decidedly Pashtun nationalistic, pro-Taliban slant; full of anti-U.S. rhetoric and inflammatory language aimed at non-Pashtuns and at Pakistan, the source told Logan. …

In his Facebook videos, the alleged gunman’s father has often appeared wearing a military uniform and declaring himself the leader of a “transitional revolutionary government” of Afghanistan. He claims to have his own intelligence agency and close ties to the U.S. Congress — assets he says he will use to subvert Pakistani influence and take control of Afghanistan.

It would appear that the fruit didn’t fall far from the ol’ tree.  Which is most of what that same fruit, and over fifty of his victims, have now been extinguished.  پلار کلن ګران must be so proud at how “accepting of others” his scion turned out to be.

And yet the self-evident reality that this was the latest in an escalating crescendo of Islamic butchery against the “Crusader” West must not be spoken.  The Left cannot abide, cannot bear to even listen to, forget the word “jihadist” or “Islamist,” they barely even tolerate the word “terrorism,” as it distracts from their adamantly preferred dhimmist Narratives of “homophobia” and “wild guns”.

Case in point:

Journalist Owen Jones stormed out of a live television interview about the mass killing in Orlando in protest at his interviewer’s refusal to name the shooting an attack on LGBT people.

“At the end of the day this was a homophobic hate crime, as well as terrorism and it has to be called out, as I have to say, on Sky News and lots of news channels, there’s not been many LGBT voices that I’ve heard myself,” he said.

“[…] it is one of the worst atrocities committed against LGBT people in the western world for generations and it has to be called out as such,” he added.

Yes, in this instance, the target of the jihad was homosexuals.  But that’s zeroing in on one tree and ignoring the entire rest of the forest.  The point isn’t that “LGBT” was in Omar Mateen’s crosshairs, the point was on the other end of the guns.  Omar Mateen was an Islamic Fundamentalist waging “holy war” against those his demon “god” told him were his enemies.  The “Pulse” night club could just as easily have been a synagogue or a mall or a cineplex or a church, and undoubtedly will be in the days, weeks, and months ahead.  Only in those future instances, the cynical identity politics fetish won’t arise from dinnermashers like Owen Jones because the targets will be either too generalized or of the “wrong tribe,” and that will be perfectly okay with him.

Case in point:

The Christian Right has introduced two hundred anti-LGBT bills in the last six months and people blaming Islam for this. No.

Given that Omar Mateen was an Islamic Fundamentalist, raised by a pro-Taliban Islamic Fundamentalist, taught to hate homosexuals by the most virulently and murderously “homophobic” culture on the planet, and called 911 to declare his allegiance to the Islamic State before attacking the homosexual nightclub in Orlando, yeah, why wouldn’t anybody be blaming Christian evangelicals for the atrocity?  That’s that for which we keep “Chase Strangio” around, right?

And when the next Omar Mateen chooses a church as his/her/their shooting gallery, what do y’all think ol’ Chase will be saying about that?  “Poetic justice” or “What goes around, comes around” or “Fuck the Fundies!  Pass me a mug of their shed blood!” I imagine.

Or trundle out the gun control quackery, as New York City’s Sandanista Mayor did last morning:

We mourn with the people of Orlando and the LGBT community as a whole on the news that -once again- we have lost precious lives to the gun.

That’s funny, because I didn’t think “smart guns” meant firearms that could telekinetically pull their own triggers guided by an independent, on-board sentient consciousness.  Which means that either (1) a new life form has been discovered on this planet that is an enormously bigger watershed event in human history than finding some actual microbes on Mars or Europa or Titan or wherever like the faux-atheist pagan scientific community is endlessly and droolingly chasing after, or (2) there was someone pulling those triggers on the gun’s behalf, and the motives of that trigger-puller might just be more important than the means he used to massacre and maim over a hundred innocent people.

It is not, in short, the imagined “persecution” of the most dominant, powerful, and persecutory demographic in America today, or “the gun” that is the threat and problem, it is Islam, coupled with the fact that  a large majority of the country adamantly refuses to accept that visceral truth.

Which leads to the perpetual election of spouters of jihadi-symp doggerel like this:

Say a prayer for them and say a prayer for their families — that God give them the strength to bear the unbearable. And that He give us all the strength to be there for them, and the strength and courage to change.

Change what?  Repealing the Second Amendment?  Banning Christianity and Judaism?  Mass state-mandated conversion to Islam?  As per usual with President Divot, it’s what he doesn’t say that speaks deafeningly louder than what he does.

Still, I recall one of the tenets of conservatism that is directly applicable to this situation: “When it is not necessary to change, it is necessary not to change”.  And that “change” in this instance would be crazy, foolhardy, and suicidal.  Anybody care to put money on whether the “Pulse” nightclub was a “gun-free zone”, BTW?

Exit quote from John Podhoretz:

America’s national attitude toward LGBT people didn’t shoot up the Pulse nightclub. This country’s national attitude has undergone a sea-change in the past twenty years, by the way, in case the president hasn’t noticed.

An Islamist terrorist waging war against the United States killed and injured 103 people on our soil. We Americans do not bear collective responsibility for this attack. Quite the opposite.

The attack on the Pulse nightclub was an attack on us all, no less than the World Trade Center attack.

Amen.

ISIS Attacks Orlando, Florida

ISIS Attacks Orlando, Florida

A jihadist gunman, mowing down dozens of “infidel” victims, in a homosexual nightclub, because he thought they were all homosexual, after and during which he was proclaiming his allegiance to the Islamic State, but rest assured, my friends, this San Bernardino x 3 has NOTHING to do with Islam and EVERYTHING to do with the vast herds of sentient wild guns that still roam this land.

But first, the grisly particulars:

A gunman killed fifty people at a packed gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida on Sunday and wounded fifty-three others before being killed by police in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

The shooter was identified as Omar S. Mateen, a Florida resident who a senior FBI official said might [?] have had leanings towards [the] Islamic State. Officials called the rampage a “terrorism incident,” but cautioned that the suspected Islami[c] connection required further investigation.

No, it really doesn’t.  That’s nakedly self-evident.  But they’ve got to go through the motions of professional protocol, I suppose.

A police officer working as a security guard inside the club, which has operated in downtown Orlando since 2004, exchanged fire with the suspect at about 2 a.m. (0600 GMT), police officials said.
A hostage situation quickly developed, and three hours later SWAT team officers used armored cars to storm the club before shooting dead the gunman. It was unclear when the gunman killed the victims.

One officer was injured after he was hit in his helmet while exchanging fire with the gunman, police said.

“Do we consider this an act of terrorism? Absolutely,” said Danny Banks, special agent in charge of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. “Whether that is domestic terrorist activity or an international one, that is something we will certainly get to the bottom of.”

That answer negates the need to identify Agent Banks as not being a federale, doesn’t it?

See what I mean:

Asked if the FBI suspected the gunman might have had inclinations toward [Islamic Fundamentalism], including a possible [?] sympathy for Islamic State, Ronald Hopper, an assistant FBI agent in charge, told reporters: “We do have suggestions that the individual may have leanings toward that particular ideology. But right now we can’t say definitively.”

The bleep you can’t.  Your Florida counterpart sure as hell did.

The FBI said it was still trying to pin down whether the mass shooting was a hate crime against [homosexual]s or a terrorist act.

Is there any actual reason why it can’t be both?  Especially since Islamic Fundamentalism is the embodiment and personification of Satanic hatred of everything that isn’t Islam.  The Gaystapo is trying to play up the hate crime angle in order to divert culpability from Islam and drag Christian evangelicals into their own hate-criminal dragnet.  But Mohammedans like Mareen are just as eager and likely to burst into a church and maim and massacre over a hundred Christians as they are to Swiss-cheese-ize a queer nightclub.  The common thread is that they hate us all, and that makes Islamic Fundamentalists the common problem and common threat.

Which is why the Muzzies are pushing O’s gun control fetish with the zeal of their crypto-co-religionist:

We hope this would be the last of the mass shootings that our country has been going through. Um, I think as a nation we need to look at this issue of mass shootings because we just had one too many today, and I think we should do something about it to stop the mass shootings that are happening all the time.

Yeah, we should.  But it’s not what he’s clearly trying to make us believe we should do.

A wearyingly tiresome rehash that You Know Who wasted no time in reprising yet again:

Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history. The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school or in a house of worship or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing, is a decision that’s wrong.

The Second Amendment didn’t murder over fifty people and wound even more.  Mareen could just as easily have suicide-bombed that nightclub and slaughtered even more innocent victims.  The point is not the means by which this atrocity was committed – the “how” – but who and why.

And Mareen left no doubt as to the latter:

Before shooting began, shooter called 911 and swore allegiance to ISIS – @PeteWilliamsNBC says

You know who confirmed this conclusion?  The ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee:

And the punchline?  According to CNN, Mareen was on a list of known ISIS sympathizers.  He was a known threat.  And yet he was not taken into preemptive custody.  Why?  Because it would have been “Islamophobic,” of course.

We can take some avenging solace in that he was shot and killed in the melee.  But it won’t bring back those fifty-plus dead.  And more, many more, will continue to perish, not at the triggers of wild, sentient firearms, but at the hands of the Global Jihad, organized or piecemeal, until such time as we resolve to do what is necessary to adequately and effectively get control of the Islamic Fundamentalist problem, both abroad and right here at home.

One thing we can count on: It’ll take something way, WAY worse to even begin to build that level of ruthless public consensus resolve.  Compared to that,  Orlando isn’t even a fart in a supernova.
